About Me

My name is Mary Martorella and I am a real estate agent in the tri-city area of Fitchburg, Gardner, and Leominster. This area includes the Northern Worcester County towns of Templeton, Winchendon, Westminster, Ashburnham, Ashby, Lancaster, and Lunenburg.

I received my real estate license in 2012 and have been enjoying the new experiences I have had. I joined EXIT New Options Real Estate at the beginning of January and have been increasing my skills and knowledge through both the continuing education opportunities offered by the company and through the veteran agents associated with EXIT New Options. With a background in education, I have the people skills needed to ensure quality and commitment to my clients.

Although I am a relatively new agent, I already have two testimonials:

"I really enjoyed the time with Mary Martorella. All of her suggestions were very helpful. She spent a lot of extra time with me, because my credit was terrible. She taught me how to e-mail stuff and we had a very comfortable relationship. I would very much recommend her and Exit New Options to everyone I know." Veronica W.

"Thank you to all who were involved ... for our operations hard work to overcome some odds we faced in the early end of this transaction.  You all deserve to celebrate.  It is amazing to me how much work it takes these days to get a family into a home, it truly takes an orchestrated army of people and I must say this team worked well together. I most appreciate professionalism of Mary Martorella..." Christine B., Annie-Mac Home Mortgage

The vision of EXIT New Options Real Estate is one of participation, positive contribution, and production. This vision allows us to serve our customers with a team that is focused on knowledge, open sharing of ideas and experiences, service, and most of all being active in the market place. This commitment results in having a sense of the market and strong relationships with fellow successful agents. It further results in an awareness of trends in the market, successful use of technology and simply being more connected to what it takes to provide our clients with the results they desire and deserve.

Growing up the youngest of five children in a small town in Maine, I learned the strong Yankee work ethic my parents both possessed. This included performing not only the chores assigned to me but also the work opportunities provided to me even at a young age. My first job was raking blueberries at the tender age of seven; a job I continued to do every summer until I took a typing course and was able to get a job as an office assistant in a doctor's office while in high school. After graduating from Ellsworth High School, I went to the University of Maine where I received a BA in Speech Communication. This is also where I met my future husband and went from being Mary Saunders to Mary Martorella.

After having three children, I went to work in the Winchendon Public School system as a job trainer for the School to Work Program and discovered I loved working with young people. I enrolled at Fitchburg State University and received a Master's Degree in Special Education, garnering honors by being chosen for the Kappa Delta Pi Educational Honor Society. Working in public school systems during the years of 1998 to 2011 was difficult as the state government was cutting back on the amount of aid it was giving to districts. Although I loved the work, getting pink slipped each year due to budget cuts began to wear on me. I decided it was time to find a new direction in my life: becoming a real estate agent. It was not a hard decision as I have always loved going into houses and exploring them, learning of each house's quirks and unique qualities. When my children were young, we would always explore the model homes that were open to the public, imagining how we would set up the house if it were ours. Now that I am Mary Martorella, Realtor, I can help other people find the house of their dreams.

Mary, To access the recorded sessions we have a new password. Ask Bill if he can give that to you. He was sent notification last week of the changes to the passwords. Not sure why Kasey was not able to access unless that was a day that the system was down.

Thank you!

Hi Mary! Sorry to hear about all of the technical issues you had. In the future if you have any issue with audio or video please call the office immediately! That is the fastest way to get in touch with me and hopefully we can fix the problem asap. Office number is 407-331-5738. For now, I can make the recording of today's session available to you once it has posted to the website. It may be up tomorrow if not definitely by Wednesday. That is the only help I can provide for you to catch up on any missed information due to the technical issues. Your office has subscribed to the recorded sessions and therefore, I will give you access for this session only....generally the Broker has to designate out their office password for their pre-paid hourse, but I will create an individual password for you that will work only for session 17 and will be valid for the remainder of the week. I will email you that information tomorrow when the video is ready from my email account [email protected]
