Live Interactive Training
Over 20 years of Real Estate Experience in the areas of Administration, Office Manager, Realtor, Builder Representative, On-Site Apartment Property Manager, Commercial Real Estate Marketing Administrator and Transaction Coordinator.
Upon receiving an Associates of Science degree at East Carolina University, I joined the Air Force and spent 5 years working as an Automatic Flight Control Systems Specialist on the A-10A "Warthog" fighter aircraft. I received training and my real estate license in Omaha, Nebraska in 1994. I have continued to broaden my knowledge of real estate over the past 20 years.
I met my husband of 29 years, John, while working alongside each other in combat boots on the flightline in Myrtle Beach. After spending 21 years in the Air Force travelling all across the country we ended our service with our last assignment at Andrews AFB where my husband was a pilot on Air Force II. He currently is a Captain flying for Southwest Airlines. In the Air Force we met many friends who I am privileged to now refer to as family. I have lived in the Hampton Roads area over 10 years and am happy to be back in close proximity to my extended family/relatives. We live in the Great Bridge/Hickory area of Chesapeake with our two children.
I began working as a Transaction Coordinator for a high producing Realtor at the end of 2012. That year he received the distinguished HRRA Circle of Excellence Gold award. With his high energy, knowledge, and experience and my assistance, he was involved in over 130 transactions and achieved the Platinum level in 2013. I have received and continue to receive a priceless education in the practices and procedure for my company and this area from my mentor, Andy Hubba.
Now that my children are grown and well on their way to being independent and needing mom a lot less, I have activated my license once again to assist sellers in selling their home and buyers in buying a home.
If you know me from my early days in real estate, you know that I do not begin a task without thorough education and preparation. I am in the process of preparing myself through EXIT's 12 week Realtor training sessions and will then get back to doing what is truly MY FORTE - being a Realtor.
From my achievement as "Rookie of the Year" my first year in real estate in 1994, I immediately disappeared out of the spotlight to go "back on the clock" in order to focus on raising my children. It has been a long and rewarding journey but for you, the wait is over - I AM BACK and will soon be available to educate and help my clients make housing decisions whether buying or selling. I know that my area of expertise and passion is assisting clients by helping them make one of the biggest decisions in their life - buying/selling a home - and to help make the transaction a smooth one.
Looking forward to seeing you at my "Coming out Party." You are invited! The door is always open.
